Marriage is not a Compatability Test

Godly Marriage is not a compatibility test 👩‍❤️‍👨 +🧠= 😡

You married someone who is not “just like you” so you can become more like christ in your love for them.

Quit complaining and speaking curses over your spouse because they are different, and start asking God how to throw out your differences so two can become one.

Your Marriage is an example of:

- A committment where God can bring unity

-An unselfish love that prays to see transformation

- Longsuffering when things didn’t go as expected

Your marriage is a place of invitation:

-Invite God into the midst of disagreements

-Invite God to do a humbling work in your lives

-Invite God where there are intimacy issues

-Invite God to heal hurts and offenses

It’s not about how many interests you guys share but that you are able to give your very best in serving them and loving them the way God has called you.

If your spouse doesn’t let know the lord, or perhaps is not where they should be with God, don’t let where they are at detour your love and prayers. Ask God to give you grace to live godly , don’t dissapear to church all the time but be an example in your home to them and pray for your spouse like you’ve never prayed before.

True prayer is releasing the hurts, forgiving as Jesus has forgiven you and believing that no matter how long it’s been that God is still able to do impossible things.

“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”
